Talk about zero to sixty.
Here at Matt Mendelsohn Photography, we go straight from the dog days of August right smack into the craziness of our fall portrait season. We're used to it by now. The quiet of that final week before Labor Day is usually spent in preparation for the big crush. The phone starts ringing just as back-to-school night rolls around.
For close to thirty years now I've been shooting pictures as a professional. From UPI to USA Today to a decade photographing families and children. And those same principles that guided me during those newspaper days steer me once again. No white backdrops, no matching shirts. Real kids, real pictures.
